Credit  [top]

How long will it take my company to get credit?
If you have filled out the credit application, credit card authorization form, and personal guarantee forms completely with all of the required information, our Department of Financial Services can process your request within 7 days. If you would like to expedite the process, we recommend contacting your bank and credit references and alerting them to the fact that we will be contacting them to check your credit so that we can gain more immediate responses.

How do I go about obtaining credit with your company?

  • Please note that a failure to completely fill out all required information – including the company owner's social security number – on the form will result in a delay in our ability to extend credit to your company in a timely manner.

  • An application for credit will usually take approximately 7 days to process.

  • If you would like to expedite the credit application process, please notify your bank and other credit references that you are applying for credit with Binder Machinery and ask them to respond to our inquiries promptly.

  • All information provided to us is kept strictly confidential.

  • These forms can be sent via fax to (908) 756-6690 or brought to the Department of Financial Services at Binder Machinery Company.

What are your Credit Terms?

Here is some basic information with regard to credit terms at Binder Machinery Company:

  • Terms are “net 30 days” for all invoices.

  • Rental fees must be paid within 60 days of billing date or the machine will be picked up.

  • Three months of unpaid rental fees will result in the machine being picked up.

  • Invoices that run to 90 days may result in an intervention by an attorney or a collection agency.

  • If you have a good credit history and timely pay performance with our company, you may apply for an additional line of credit. Please contact CJ Weir, Director of Financial Services, at (908) 561-9000.

How can I find out what attachments are available for my machine?
Simply call Gerry Yarka, Inventory Manager at (908) 561-9000 or via email at gyarka@bindermachinery.com and he can assist you in determining the attachments which are available for your machine and which you will need to accomplish a specific task.

What is your return policy with regard to Parts?
For Stocking Parts: There is a 15% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase. There is a 25% restocking charge after 30 days with proof of purchase.

For Non-Stocking Parts: There is a 25% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase. After 30 days non-stocking parts are not returnable

How can I maintain the exterior of my equipment or personalize it for my company?
Binder Machinery has a completely outfitted paint shop that can repaint your equipment in order to maintain it or we can also provide customized paint shop services for companies that wish to have their machines painted a specific color. If I have a CAT or John Deere machine, can you perform repairs on it?
Yes, Binder Machinery can repair any make or model of equipment.

Does Binder Machinery offer a program to help me maintain proper service schedules?
Yes, it is called the Preferred Maintenance Program. Our Product Support team will track the hours on your entire fleet, schedule the appropriate service with our Service Department, and supply you with a breakdown on what parts and labor are involved for each service. Your Product Support Rep can also prepare a spreadsheet for you showing your cost per hour, per machine, to have all of your services done through the Preferred Maintenance Program. All of this can be done for you so you don't have to worry about service maintenance, and all you pay is the flat rate cost of the service. The best part about the program is that it can be done for just about every machine in your fleet. Can Binder make decals for my equipment?
Yes, Binder has the capabilities to make any size and style of decal for your equipment. The turnaround time is typically within one week. For additional information, contact our Service Department.

What is oil sampling and why is it so important?
When the sliding parts inside each component move, there is wear, and as a result, wear particles are produced. KOWA (Komatsu Oil and Wear Analysis) is a system for measuring the density of these metal wear particles in used oil. The results of the measurement are then used to judge if the war condition of the parts lubricated by the oil inside each component is normal or abnormal. The method of analyzing the metal content of the engine oil using KOWA can detect dust and metal wear particles of micron size which cannot be seen by the naked eye. The oil analysis is designed to support reliable, accurate predictive maintenance for engines, transmissions, gear drives, and hydraulic systems.

My hose just broke, can Binder help me?
Yes, we have complete hose making capabilities able to accommodate sizes from 1/4” to 1 3/4” OD.

Does Binder Machinery offer any service specials?
Yes, depending upon the time of year, we offer a variety of service specials. Most frequently we offer specials on air-conditioning tune-ups in the spring so that you can recharge and make sure your cooling system is functioning before the hot summer season arrives. We also offer paint shop and other “off-season” specials in the wintertime when most equipment is not in use.

I lost my warranty and am unsure if my machine is covered — what do I do now?
Our Warranty Department keeps copies on hand of all the warranties for any equipment purchased through Binder Machinery. Simply contact the Warranty Department and they can assist you in obtaining a new copy and providing you with information on what is or is not covered. Are consumables covered under my machine's warranty?
No, regardless of your warranty coverage, standard consumables like tires, tubes, wiper blades, v-belts, filters, o-rings, cables, bulbs, condensers or glow plugs, fuses, carbon brushes, oil, cutting edges, teeth, and other such parts ARE NOT covered.
